pc specs for video photo editing for serious use

hello to everybody!
i have a dell t3500 workstation with
16 ram
intel (r) xeon(r) w3690 3.47ghz
250 ssd
1 terra simple hard disk
and gtx nvidia 970 card...

i use it for video editing with premiere pro ,but i have some issue with laging time to time...
and videos at youtube that im doing cant watch it at 2160 without laging
i have an exellent camera,sony a7iii ,for those that you know, and i cant watch smooth 4k content,specialy at internet..

The CPU was introduced over 8 years ago. That's old by CPU standards.

It's a 6 core Xeon that scores around 8900 on the Passmark benchmark.

For under $300, you can buy a CPU that scores above 14000 on that benchmark. Some are Xeons, some are Intel i7s, some are AMD. You'd have to buy a new motherboard as well.

The CPU looks like the most outdated thing in your PC, but it remains to be seen how much benefit you would see by upgrading in your particular case.

What frame rate do you record at and use for the video that effect is normally you have done a high rate 60fps and edited down to wrong rate like 25fps get the maths wrong and it has to drop a frame all the time. Your better using free hitfilm express or filmoria hitfilms is used for major production runs better than Adobe and free

when i was shooting with panasonic g9 i was used 60fps 4k 150mbps ,now with sony a7iii 24fps 4k 100mbps...
i never try other program...only premiere pro
