How do you tune machine.config file in windows 10 for performance?

I was researching and found this article below. Im curious to see what kind of performance gain i can achieve. The article below goes over the values to enter but when i try to find the places to make the modifications they are no where to be found.

Can someone help me out on how i can acheive this issue?

Right at the top of machine.config it tells where to look for information and what you will find in the file:
    Code:
Please refer to machine.config.comments for a description and
the default values of each configuration section.

For a full documentation of the schema please refer to
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=42127

To improve performance, machine.config should contain only those
settings that differ from their defaults.
This part, To improve performance, machine.config should contain only those settings that differ from their defaults, implies to me you will not find any default settings in the file. You will have to enter them.

Look at machine.config.comments for default settings and http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=42127 for complete documentation.

There are many entries in my machine.config files. Editing them looks very risky unless you really know what you are doing.
