So it is possible theoretically, because system freezes from time to time. I asked, because i was thinking about registry-backup. It is to difficult, make incremental system backups everyday, because of space and time it takes. But if i recorvered registry from pre-existing backup, would my new programs i installed afterwards work ? I think not.

If your system freezes I'd look for driver issues. Stop worrying about your registry, there is most likely nothing wrong with it.

and as has also been said, it will make absolutely no difference. If you are having problems, reinstall. Once all is working correctly ...

... backup the current install. The best way to do this is to use Macrium Reflect Free to make an image backup to an external hard drive. If you don't have an external hard drive now is a good time to get one as regular backup should be a part of your normal process. You can get a 1TB external hard drive for $60 (less if on sale).

Keep the backup current so if problems do occur, recovery is 20 minutes away.

Seriously, you are talking about a "corrupted" registry but plan to back up and restore your entire registry, maybe even onto a fresh install of Windows? That will definitely get you a completely messed up registry. A registry backup is to revert changes to an existing install, everything else will simply not turn out well.

As has been said already: If you have issues look for faulty drivers, badly behaving programs or even do a fresh install of Windows. The registry is not your issue. Unless of course you did deliberately alter the registry and messed it up. But in this case a registry backup will not help.
