    Windows 10 1809 faster logon vs Windows 10 1903

In my previously installed Windows 10 1809 the time it took to go from password prompt to desktop, was litterally instant, so fast that it didnt show the "Welcome." Now that Ive upgraded to 1903, it shows the "Welcome" for a second or 2. Is this just something windows added on purpose so that people can see the "Welcome" loading? or is there any fix?

Notes (did this for both 1809, and 1903):
    - I have 0 startup programs
    - Disabled many more startup programs through AutoRuns by sysinternals
    - Disabled many services
    - Disabled all antivirus and updates

Check this tweak. A FU may have reset a start-up delay. If you have a fast PC and/or an SSD on your OS, you can safely reduce this delay. I wouldn't hesitate to set a delay value of 0 if you're referring to the PC in 'My Computer'.

Wow thx, Ill definetly try it out when I get home and report back, but in the mean time, are you sure the delay they are refering to is from the password prompt to desktop or the actual boot up? and yes the PC under My Computer is my current

You're most welcome. This should be the delay from login to desktop. I have to check another laptop to see if this was the method I used, I can't recall. Keep in mind that this is only one potential solution to slow starts. I know that one of my previous Feature Updates reset this to the 10 second default.

Please remember to tread carefully while in the registry as it could have the potential to cause significant or irreparable damage. It is always best to save your current registry config before changing anything.

Sorry, I was short on time yesterday and should have mentioned you can backup individual keys from the registry by following this tutorial.
