Major slowing issues since October cumulative update?

    Be prepared for it to come back. Security updates are not optional, and you'll probably get it again today.... Patch Tuesday. 1PM ET. Curious what happens, let us know.

    After an unsuccessful attempt at fixing it completely broke my boot drive, I was forced into the scorched earth approach and had to install Windows clean. Long story.

    But the issue is gone now. And Windows is bang up to date.

    So, all's well that ends well! No idea what caused the slow reboots mind you...
