    Windows explorer crash

    Hello!
Two days ago, I have upgraded my windows 7 HP probook 470 Go to windows 10, using media creation tool (iso). After the complete installation and from the first boot to the new desktop, the windows explorer crashed. I have this problem since then. It is unable to restart explorer using task manager.
The only way to run an App is using task manager.
Please note that when restarting windows, explorer seems fine for about 3-4 min and then crashes.
I have downloaded all available drivers from HP and windows updates. The problem still exist.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Marios

Exact same problem, only that mine freezes for about 30 seconds after doing almost any action. And then goes back to normal

    Hello,

I have found the problem. I have uninstalled IDT Audio driver (from the Program and Features). All back to normal now!

Cool. I have nothing like it though, still dunno what might be causing the issue.

You might have incompatible Shell Extensions which worked in previous version. Try #2 and #3 in this thread:

Awesome, thanks for your help, it seems like it was some of the stuff I had working with explorer, maybe some pdf creator (phantom foxit) or some nero plugin, but anyway it is fixed now
