Disk and RAM usage goes to 100%

Hello everyone,

I've bought a new computer about 6 weeks ago. Everything worked fine, up until these last few days. After a few hours of using it, it starts lagging more and more, to the point where it freezes completely. I've managed to catch a glimpse on the taskbar, which showed 100% disk usage and about 98% RAM usage, despite not running any applications. The only way out is to restart, but after a few hours it starts the whole lagging process again.

I've also run a virus scan (malwarebytes), and it found nothing suspicious.

You need to look at what processes and services are active when RAM and CPU usage is high.

You can go to resource monitor to look thoroughly at what consumes memory

Thanks for the advice! I found out that the issue was somehow connected to the latest windows update, so I just rolled back to the previous version and the issue seems to be resolved.

It was probably a known bug in 1903. After a update patch from WU the problem would be gone.
I have disabled Cortana on my computer.
