    WerFault-Error Message

    Hello here!

    i'm using PureBasic5.71x64 to write programs on my Windows 10 Home x64. I just installed the windows update to v1903 and since then i experienced problems with executables i compiled with the PureBasic Compiler. Those programs will report an "werfault.exe"-error message and something about the Visual C++ Redistributables.
    First i thought something is messed up with my Compiler Environment but i tested some executables with the help of other PB-Coders, it seems something is messed up with my Windows installation.
    The error occurs only for the x64 compiler version when i want to open a WindowedScreen or a Fullscreen with DirectX. Whereas no problems when i choose OpenGL as subsystem at compilation time with the x64 compiler.

    i already tried following things to repair it:

    - sfc /scannow
    - dism
    - chdksk
    - memory test (100% ok)
    - checked DX with DXDiag.exe (100%)
    - shutdown of WerFault-Service in System Control
    - reinstalled Visual C++ 2015/2017 Redistributable
    - reinstalled Purebasic
    - reinstalled nvidia driver with DDU.exe
    - virus scan (no infections) / disabled antivirus app

    Any idea how to solve this issue?

    No you do not need to reinstall Windows. You may Ave to reinstall Purebasic and make sure that you have b oth the 32 and 64 bit versions of.net. Going back to before this started, we're there any programs removed or updated? Diagnose the symptoms not causing more headaches.
