    Disk usage 100%

I have tried all of the troubleshooting things I saw online to help with 100% disk usage.

I have tried deleting all content, removed antivirus software- Bitdefender, restarted computer, etc. I don't know what else to do except take it into a place to get looked at.

Have you done any of these things:

Tested your hard drive with the manufacturer's utility?

Used Task Manager to monitor what processes and services are running?

Used Task Manager to determine what applications are set to run every time your PC starts?

Run thorough anti-virus and anti-malware scans?

What do you mean by "deleting all content"?

Tested your hard drive with the manufacturer's utility? I ran the chkdsk

Used Task Manager to monitor what processes and services are running? yes- most often it is the system or service host that seems to run up the usage

Used Task Manager to determine what applications are set to run every time your PC starts? I don't know how to see which run at every start

Run thorough anti-virus and anti-malware scans? yes, it is set to go weekly or so and I have run it recently

What do you mean by "deleting all content"? I restored to factory settings and removed all files to see if it was overloaded with content

Best single thing you can do right now:

Post a screen shot of the processes tab of Task Manager, with the Disk column sorted by activity, with the highest percentage at the top.

Example of my PC below during a malware scan. Note that the disk activity is 11% and that the processes are ranked in order, with Malwarebytes at the top. It accounts for nearly all of my disk activity at that moment.

You can look at the "startup" tab in Task Manager to see what applications run every time you start up.

It would help if you filled out your system specs, showing your PC make, model, and details of your hardware--particularly the hard drive. Is it an SSD?

This is how it looks sometimes when it is running at 100% but usually it is the system or a service host that is causing the higher level it seems

If Dropbox is syncing or a Malware program is running, your percentages for certain resources will be high. MBAM was most likely running a scan. Close all programs and background tasks for stuff like Dropbox, etc and use Process Explorer to see what is going on with a Clean Boot.
