I found out that somehow (about a week ago), in the BIOS, the VCORE Offset was increased by over +.2V that occurred at/around the same time the latest big update to Windows on my computer. It was previously all set to Auto/+0V.

Not sure how that happened, I haven't even been in my BIOS for nearly a year and I am the only one in my househould. I just know that it somehow occurred during the last big update upon restart (I know, doesn't make sense, should not have happened).

In any case, I set it all back to normal and temps went down back to normal, then I even undervolted a bit and now I barely ever peak past 60C for the cores (in Core Temp) and rarely above 50C for my CPU Temp (measured with the Gigabyte System Information Viewer).

In conclusion, my temperature increase seemed to be due to the (unexplained) increase to the VCORE Offset in the BIOS. All is well now, I'm just left confused with zero knowledge to why or how it happened.

Thanks to all who looked in to try to help.
