MEGA satisfied --swapped W10 Pro for W10 Workstation

    Hi there
even on an INTEL Core i5 6200U CPU HP laptop (dual core) I'm mega pleased I got from work a W10 Workstation license which replaced my W10 Pro system -- the performance on even this basic laptop is much better than W10 Pro (and no bloat !!) -- I'd even say it's possibly giving the Linux system when run on the same machine a run for its money.

I think Ms should push this W10 Workstation edition far more -- Brilliant.

Now to add display language etc and I'm good to go with it.

    Cheers

Just curious, @jimbo45: how are you measuring performance to make this determination? I get a free single copy of that software through the MVP program, but I've never loaded it. Sounds like I might want to try it out, if I like your answer.
    Thanks,

    Hi there

Haven't done any bench marks but I know that the whole thing is just far snappier -- especially on the dual XEON system. However even on a decent laptop it feels that it's so much snappier than the standard W10 Pro system.

OK some of these things perhaps are more perceived than real --but we've both been using computers for long enough to know when a system is far less sluggish than previously. !!

    Cheers

Thanks @jimbo45: I guess I'll just have to give it a try and see what I think.
    Thanks again,
