    Long login and then black screen after KB4505903


    I just installed the new KB4505903 on my laptop and now I cant login anymore. The Signing in ... takes 10 seconds or so instead of 1, and then a black screen with mouse cursor shows up and nothing else. Laptop has latest 1903...

    it says it shouldnt happen with 1903

    how incompetent can MS be?

    Wrong link in your post, this is the correct. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...indows-10-1903 They re-released that on late Friday because of issues.

    What are you talking about? What rereleasing? Your link is nonsense. I am speaking about KB4505903 which is out since 26.7.. Did what was advised in the link I posted, ctrl alt del reboot and now it is working again.

    See the link that I posted. They re-released that KB late Friday due to problems that came about on Thursday and had to pull it to fix. It was all over the news on the web.

    That link that you posted was dated for June, before that KB was officially released on July 26.

    Could you please stop responding if you dont know what this is about? Your links dont make any sense. Post a proper link if you have any. I installed the update saturday and it resulted in black screen with login. None of your links have this issue listed. THIS IS AFTER RE RELEASE.
