If I click on Shut down (see attached picture) my computer restarts. Do you know how can I solve this?

See if this helps at all:

Go to the search box and type "troubleshoot power". You should see an item called "Find and fix problems with your computer's power settings". Run that troubleshooter and see if it finds anything.

    Okay, let's try this way:

Open Control Panel. With "View by" set to either "Large icons" or "Small icons", select Troubleshooting, then under System and Security, choose Improve power usage.

I never knew about this troubleshooter until I saw this post so thanks. I've been running into the same issue where my PC restarts after shutdown. Running the troubleshooter found two issues. Hopefully this solves it. I say hopefully because sometimes the issue is random.

    Anyway thanks for the tip.

I am in System and Security however I do not find "Improve power usage". May be because I changed the language to German :S (I attach the picture). Can you tell me which entry under the icon should I click on?Click image for larger version.

Navigation is a little bit different when you have "category" selected. As I noted, when you first open Control Panel, choose either "Small icons" or "Large icons" for the view and then select "Troubleshooting" like this:

    Then select Improve power usage:

Thanks, found it. However there it says that the computer is in the highest performance. This is marked as an issue :S. I set this option on purpose. Actually I do not like that my computer screen turns off and the computer goes to sleeping mode. Do you thing this has to do with the restart if shutting down the computer?

No. Should have nothing to do with it. A shutdown should still be honored. So it identified no other issues?
