1) PLEASE READ - You all misunderstand what I wrote!
I told you 2 years ago when I first got Windows 10 is when I played around trying to get rid of Cortana.
BUT then I told you after feature updates kept undoing everything I did I was forced to surrender! I did a fresh reinstall of Windows 10 and went through all of the updates and just had to live with the Windows 10 Home the past 2 years (but of course I turned off every possible setting associated with search, Cortana, and other undesirable things).
2) IMPORTANT - 3 days ago I did a CLEAN INSTALL of Windows 10 Pro.
I already explained to you that I went to Pro in hopes of finally being able to control Windows UPDATE but have learned after many days and countless hours of testing that Window 10 Pro only gives the "illusion" of having increased control, it is not absolute control.
And I continue to have others system issues that I had in Home including periods of High Disk Usage when my system is completely crippled.
So, again, this installation is PRISTINE and the only 2 things I have installed is a 3rd party AV & Firewall (to help debug windows updates), and Firefox.
So, again, this is a pristine Windows 10 Pro installation!
