    8. All drivers are up to date and I have everything updated in general.
Can you confirm you have not used a 3rd party driver updater?

Linux Mint is very good. I use Lubuntu. Lubuntu x64
You don't need to install on a HDD, it will run from a USB flash disk.
Mount the iso and extract all files and folders to a Fat32 USB flash disk (min 2G).
Boot from it and choose: Try before install.
Thanks! I'll see what I can do there.

As for my drivers, the only third party app is GeForce Experience for my NVIDIA graphics.

I'm terribly sorry, I didn't see that post. I'm uploading them right now!

PS: How come I can't write from my PC here? There's no space for text. Is this a bug? I just thought I should mention it.

EDIT: It seems I can't upload them since I can't write at least three characters 😂
Okay, I just edited them in this one!

And I got a new problem...
Today, I played a lot of Destiny 2. I played for many hours and a while ago an error happened, which also closed the game. I tried again, but 10 minutes later it happened again.

According to Windows, it's a Hardware error (Live Kernel Event) and it has to do with my GPU.

This is the first time that happens. My drivers are all up to date by the way.

I don't think it has to do with my other problem, since it only happened now and it's not like the other problem had to do with graphics, since the OS closed. Also, this problem only affected the game, nothing else (as far as I saw).

Yesterday, I tried to change my PSU with a brand new one (I had one). The thing is that the new one didn't work at all, even though everything was plugged in correctly (I built my desktop pc and I have helped my friend with his, so I know the connections). I then went back to my other PSU, since the new one didn't even work. I don't know if I did something wrong, I'll check again to make sure the GPU is all good.

I'll attach the pictures I took about the new problem.

    Like one problem wasn't enough...

Thanks! I'll start right away by running the test and sharing the results. Plus, I'm not overclocking at all, so that's good.

Personally, I would leave the Bios update unless you absolutely have to update it. Why introduce more issues (potentially) and open up a can of worms?

Look up what the Bios update offers, usually it's compatibility with new hardware ( processors, RAM etc... ). Obviously, it's up to you - wasting time fixing a messed up boot after a Bios update/reset is just a waste of time if you don't have to.

EDIT: You probably already know this. Never update the bios within Windows, always do it within the Bios....sorry if that's obvious.

You did well to say that. I always update it through the BIOS, but you never know 😂
Plus the updates only offer compatibility with some stuff that I don't have and some corrections to things that I don't think would apply to me (because I don't use any 3rd party apps that much about CPU and stuff). So, I'll leave it for now. Plus, when the problem started happening, I updated the BIOS to the latest version hoping to fix it. It didn't work obviously... So, it's not the BIOS, that's for sure!

I'll also backup again (I always backup) and I'll create a new restore point, just in case. Also, I don't have Ccleaner (since it was mentioned).

PS: I'll also run the HD Tune and Sea Tools as suggested. Should I do anything else?

EDIT: I made a restore point and a backup. And I read the suggested articles as well.

    - - - Updated - - -

So, I'll start by posting the results from the HD Tune software. I'm currently running the Sea Tools for Windows as well!

EDIT: It seems the Sea Tools failed to scan my 2TB HDD twice (it's not the one I have my Windows on).

    - - - Updated - - -

I'm also uploading the Sea Tools results. And I think I did everything you told me (other than the Bios thing). Is there anyting else? I also see lots of warnings and stuff...

    Hey guys,

You can see my specs in my profile, but I should also note a few things:
    1. The pc temp is better than normal, so there's no overheating.
    2. The HDDs are 100% healthy.

In our forum we see a significant number of drive failures (long DST or long generic) with normal SMART and error scans.

Had only one drive been tested before the opening post?
If not, what test(s) had been performed on the second drive?

    1) Plan to replace: WDC WD20EZRZ-00Z5HB0

    2) Make sure all important files are backed up to another drive or to the cloud.

Some end users replace drives as soon as there is a questionable test result and others may wait until the drive no longer functions.

Once you have files on this drive backed up comment into the thread.

Well, I already have a small foldier on the cloud with a file or two about that drive. I'll have to re-download the rest anyway.

Before this thread I had only tested the first drive and it was fine (as it is now). As for the second drive, since it doesn't has the Windows or the drivers, I didn't think that it would cause this problem. Plus it functions just fine (as far as I can tell), even the load times are good (for an HDD).
