EFI Partition on both SSD and HDD; can I safely delete the one in HDD

When I installed Windows 10 on the SSD, I didn't remove the HDD (it's on an Acer Aspire E5-475G laptop and it was difficult to physically remove it). So I created a new EFI Partition on the SSD.

Now I have an EFI partition in both my HDD and my SSD.

So I was wondering if it was safe to delete the EFI partition on the HDD.

To be sure, use the boot override menu to boot from the SSD first. If that works, you can delete it from the HDD.

I forgot to mention: I already formatted volume D (HDD) which is where the old Windows 10 was installed. I also set the SSD at top of boot order. Is it still safe?

For disk 1 or SSD it is suggested to have the partitions in a sequence:

What are you planning to do with the recovery partition?

Are you planning to make the HD only a data or backup drive/partition?

    Other utility partitions
Any other utility partitions not managed by Windows must be located before the Windows, data, and recovery image partitions. This allows end users to perform actions such as resizing the Windows partition without affecting system utilities.

Protect end users from accidentally modifying utility partitions by identifying them using a GPT attribute. This prevents these partitions from appearing in File Explorer.

"What are you planning to do with the recovery partition?"
To be honest, I don't know if I should keep it or remove it.

"Are you planning to make the HD only a data or backup drive/partition?"
Using it as a data drive.

The recovery partition is likely useless. You can run "reagentc /info" and see if the recovery is enabled and where it is located, if it is enabled.

The EFI partition will show with GPT formatted drives. It does not hurt anything to leave them alone. They are only taking up a very small portion of the drive and will not matter leaving them.
