    Computer will not boot

After win 10 update install puter rebooted. Came to the screen just before login screen and will not proceed. Touchscreen, mouse, keyboard etc. Do not work. Once puter times out, screen goes black and power button must be pushed to continue. 😭🤔... Please help my old brain!!?

At the wallpaper screen with a clock/date lower left corner. Little screen lower right side. This screen is just before the log in screen.

This time after time out it went to sleep. Touched power button and it came right up to wallpaper screen and the 2nd monitor turned on. Screen 2 is a dark blue.

When it get to 100% it should login not reboot. But I am not clear did you ever login or stop it. Omce you have done the update ot then does 3 more updates I am wondering if the 100% you see is the second updates or first may update. All I can suggest leave it an hour at login in case its still doing anything if that fails download the iso boot from dvd or usb and do a repair

Had you viewed the available system restore points?
Start with the oldest and keep repeating as necessary up to the most recent restore point.

If system restore fails or if there are no system restore points > find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB) >on a working computer create a bootable windows 10 iso:

I can't get into it to check restore points. It's just completely locked up. The update this morning was totally unexpected. Last night it finshed the update, and after the restart I turned it off through the power menu. This morning I turned it on and when it got to the screen just before the login page, I hit the g to get to the login page. That is when it started finishing an update. Taadaa, now I be screwed.

    1) Find two flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

    2) On a working computer create a bootable Windows 10 iso:
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

    3) On a working computer create a bootable Ubuntu flash drive:
Create a bootable USB stick on Windows | Ubuntu tutorials

    4) Run the Dell diagnostics > use a camera or smartphone camera to take pictures and post images into the thread.
If there are any problems posting images then use share links (one drive, drop box, or google drive)

    5) Power on the problematic computer and boot to the Ubuntu flash drive to backup any important files to another drive or to the cloud

    6) Power on the problematic computer and boot to the Windows 10 iso to open the windows advanced troubleshooting menu > command prompt > when ready a command can be posted that may enable you to uninstall Windows updates

    7) If you prefer not to troubleshoot and perform a reset save files equivalent (save files, reinstall drivers and applications) that may be another option
