    moving mouse cause high cpu usage for explorer.exe

    Something strange happens to me i never noticed. When i do nothing i have 1% cpu usage. But when i start rapidly moving mouse, cpu usage goes up to 20% for process explorer.exe, which is indeed weird. And for system interrupts cpu usage increases from 0.1 only to 0.5 How does mouse have to do anything with explorer.exe and i am currently on 4.1ghz intel i7 3770 4 cores, disabled hyper threading. And it doesn't happen randomly tested it already couple times. So weird i don't even have that high polling rate only 500hz and i have connected only mouse and keyboard into top ports of usb 2.0 It is also strange because i have pretty low dpc latency.

    Hi @empleat

    I'll try to help;
    Can you take a trace with Windows Performance Recorder, It can give us a clue.

    What youcan do to troubleshoot that the right way and get answers to your problem is;

    -Download and Install windows Performance Toolkit https://developer.microsoft.com/en-u...deployment-kit . Choose the package corresponding to your Windows version.
    -Record a trace using Windows Performance Recorder using these options

    - Whilerecording the trace, try to work on your system for about 1 minutes. Then click the save button and give your file a name.
    -Compress the resulting file
    - Shareit through Send Large Files - Free Secure File Transfer - TransferNow or any other file sharing platform.

    See you.

    I have the exact same problem. If i move the mouse fast enough CPU usage spikes. I'm assuming its 1903 related

    In fact a few processes in task manager are using an abnormal amounts of power.

    Hello, can any person confirm they're experiencing the same problem, high CPU usage while using the mouse on explorer.exe process

    When the mouse isn't in use nothing. Now i can feel stutter in game. I have two monitors and can see the whole system isn't right. Any suggestion?

    @empleat
    First, Update Comodo Internet security.
    If the problem persist, disable it or uninstall it and see if it helps.

    It was already updated and it didn't help. I unfortunately can't roll back, because i already deleted system backup. I guess i will wait when it is gonna be fully released.

    EDIT:I don't really understand windows updates, it is confusing as hell. So if i was on preview version, i just install KB4497935 ?

    There is nothing else showing anyways.

    Hmm and even after update, it still happens...

    BUMP ?
