Performed in place windows repair install

So, I did an inplace windows repair install. I've done this plenty of times before, however, this time.... I lost a significant amount of storage space on the C Drive. I performed a disk cleanup there afterwards and was only able to ditch 25 gb. I'm still down roughly about 80gb from where I should be. Only thing on this drive is programs and the os. Other than I keep it relatively clean.

I used a program called WinDirStat, and it looks different than what I rememeber it looked last time. Can anyone suggest how I can find where this extra amount of data is stored and get rid of it? Performed in place windows repair install-capture.png

    Hi

I use TreeSize Free. As it sorts by space you should be able to identify.

Today for the first time I used Wise Disk Cleaner (just the free version). I carefully looked at all the options of what it was going to clean. This step can't be missed. It found 3+GB and I thought my system was relatively clean.

I also have backups so I could restore if required.

Well, to start with you seem to have a 96GB pagefile - do you need that?

After an upgrade whether in-place or a feature update, Windows.old is created, approx the same size as your original. I assume you've deleted that.

Note that Windirstat is obsolete and can show a large amount of unknown data sometimes. (Yours doesn't as far as I can see).

Wiztree (free) is worthwhile investigating too - also a cushion map.
