    Regedit Defaults

    Hello, i recently changed a few settings in regedit after been recommended. I have removed the restore point

    I'm looking for every default setting in Multimedia folder. In total 11 folders.

    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version 1803. OS build: 17143.753

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia

    Help or solution would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

    In place repair would fix most of registry problems, if they are system defaults.

    Also Tweaking.com - Windows repair can fix some

    This is from 1903, but it should not be that different, if at all.

    I have compared my 1903, 1809 and 1803 Mutimedia registry settings on three completely different machines and can confirm that they are identical. Interestingly, all mine differ from your in just two entries.

    My 1803, 1809 and 1903 all have...
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile]
    "NetworkThrottlingIndex"=dword:0000000a
    "SystemResponsiveness"=dword:00000014

    where yours has...
    "NetworkThrottlingIndex"=dword:ffffffff
    "SystemResponsiveness"=dword:0000000a

    I used TCP Optimizer, I did not even notice, it changed those.

    That explains it, then. Either way, that part of the registry has not changed fro 1803 onwards so your reg file should be just what the OP needs.

    If you can get an ISO of 1803, this may help. A tutorial here on TF for mounting and manipulating offline registry hives via a mounted ISO file. Then you could simply export the values you want, and un-mount the ISO.

    Oh, okay. I'll just install Virtal Box and get the actual default settings for Multimedia on 1803
