    Hello Timmy,

Did you move the Desktop folder to another location that is currently not connected (available)?

If you did and want to restore the default location of the Desktop folder, then you could see if using an option in the tutorial below will restore it and stop this error message.

    As a test to verify:

    1) Open This PC in File Explorer.

    2) Right click on the Desktop folder in the Folders section at the top in This PC, and click on Properties.

    3) Click on the Location tab.

    4) What does it show for the current full path location like below?

@Brink, it is worth noting that the location that @walleyeblugill is trying to save to is C:\Users\Administrator\desktop, not a normal user's desktop.

    Hello @Bree,

It depends on if he's currently signed in to the built-in Administrator account or not.

...and if he's trying to save to this location from a program or another account.

If it's not currently at the default location, it should.

    Timmy,

If you like, you could try using step 4 in Option Two of the tutorial below to restore the default location of your Desktop folder to see if that may fix this for you.
