Yeah maybe i'm better off switching back to Avast Free in that case, as can't afford really Malwarebytes Paid version for all the household systems.. Hmms old habit of mine to do weekly full scans, maybe don't need to

I was scanning a usb drive yesterday (18GB+ WSUS Offline + Snappy Driver Installer) with WD and it took more than 1h. I have also noticed Grim Dawn hates WD with a passion (even if I have entire STEAM folder as exclusion). I have returned to AVAST Free. Now everything feels snappier, even browsing the web with Firefox. And Grim Dawn is butter smooth and plays a lot better. I want to love WD, but it always lets me down in the speed/performance area.
I have been using this -> https://www.superantispyware.com/ instead of Malwarebytes. They have both paid active versions and a free scan version which is really fast and always finds "adware" that Defender misses. Since converting to W10 when it came, I have been using Defender/Superantispyware and have had zero issues. (Knock on Wood).
I have come to the conclusion that WD can pretty much handle all the security I need. I had MBytes but since I have config WD to take care of early boot (which conflicted with WD and produced GSOD) I have settled on running WD only. This takes care of any possible conflicts and I just let WD scan on it's own when it wishes. Brink has posted many good tutorials on how to increase the security WD can provide on your machine.
