    Task Manager Not Available

So I recently installed Windows 10 Pro and upgraded to 1803 (I Think The Latest Release). Now for some reason I do not have the option to run Task Manager from right clicking and the option for Task Manager is there however is not clickable. Same for when I do CTRL+ALT+DEL though in that instance the option doesn't show up. I did check group policy editor since this is my personal laptop and it's edited to be off. I am a system admin on my machine so not sure what else to look for

    Any help is appreciated.

Hi, you have Pro, so it's possible somehow that a policy has been set to disable it - a registry change.

This may give a clue - one possibility: unless this is what you've already checked.
Note- the logic of the setting may read a little confusingly
Disable or enable the Task Manager using the Group Policy Editor or Windows registry editor

Totally bizarre. These were old systems from my company they were giving away. HP Probook G3's. I upgraded the RAM and Hard Drive. This fix worked by the way

    Glad it worked out.

You might wish to consider a clean install at some point.. also make sure you have a valid license.

Meanwhile make sure you use disk imaging routinely as a matter of course. E.g. Macrium reflect (free).
