Yesterday I had 64gb+ of a 128gb hard drive free and now I have 57 and I have not installed. I have run every cleanup program, command line that I can find and it does not have any effect on it; also cleaned out SoftwareDistribution folder, all upgrade files were removed long ago. Tomorrow I may have the 64 back - what is going on????

Option One will delete all restore points, Option Two deletes all but the latest one.

When run as Administrator TreeSize Free can show the contents of the hidden and protected System Volume Information folder. This is where, amongst other things, the restore points are stored.
Already looked at restore points and they are not the problem, only 4gb allocated and the variation is up to 7gb after 3gb of allocation is taken. I have remove hiberfile.sys and reallocated the size of pagefile.sys and regained 8gb, but they do not appear to be the problem either unless pagefile is fluctuating more than I have noticed.
