can't use it on my EVO 961, cause it's M.2/NVMe, but I do have Magician on an EVO 850, with 1809 booted on it. I do notice a big difference. Snappier in a lot of areas. Almost faster at certain tasks than the NVMe.

With Rapid mode OFF I was moving files (photos/25MB each) to an EVO SSD with 80-90MB/s (card's reading limit)
With Rapid mode ON I was moving files (photos/25MB each) to an EVO SSD with ~45MB/s
So, with Rapid mode ON I had a 50% loss in writing speed
I totally removed Samsung Magician 6.0. It is always on line and since I removed it Firefox is faster. Windows 10 can trim your SSD as good as Magician.
" I totally removed Samsung Magician 6.0."..........I did so too , few years ago !
Its a bloated , resource-eater , with services , etc. .............Did not discovered any profit by installing this program !
I have two Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD SATA, one for C: OS and the other E: for applications.
The E: has Rapid Mode enabled and C: Rapid Mode disabled as only one drive can have Rapid Mode enabled.
First screenshot shows C: drive with Rapid Mode disabled.
Second screenshot shows E: drive benchmarks with Rapid Mode enabled and disabled.
Samsung Magician is not set to start when Windows starts, I only start it when needed.
