    Was a windows scaling issue.
I was set to 115%, this was the result with the Nvidia issue.
Fixed the Nvidia issue and the scaling corrected, icons work properly now.
    Glad to hear it!

Well ... it's been a week of grunting over this problem.
Might it have been easier to buy a bigger drive, clone the old to the new, and install the new one?

A 2 TB desktop drive costs maybe $50. A bit more perhaps in the laptop form factor.
With that much storage you won't ever need to lose sleep over 60 GB of phantom/missing storage space.

I've got 2.5 TB in the PC and another 8 TB on USB. Storage is just too cheap these days! :)

When I report that there is NO .OLD FOLDER, THERE ISN'T A FOLDER.
Or is it just because I'm a girl you thing I'm too stupid to follow your obscure instructions?
Penny, I've been here since October of 2014 and I can tell you that 99 & 44/100% of the guys here in these Forums do not think girls are too stupid to follow instructions.

My mama always told me I could catch more flies with honey than I could with vinegar. Now, why would I want to catch flies?
