    Settings using powershell/cmd?

Is there a way to manage settings using command line/powershell?

    Thanks.

Thanks dalchina, but I'm looking for something different, I do not want, if possible, to use the settings interface, there are too much nested options and I can't remember where things are.
I'll try to be more clear (hopefully)
Lets say I want to turn on "night mode", instead of opening settings, and click on the switch, is it possible to give a powershell command to do that? Something like this totally fake command below
    Code:
    pwsettings -nightlight -option ON

I can't remember where things are.
That's why there is a search field. For example searching for night and clicking the result takes you to the nightlight page.

If you want a set of shortcuts, I have given you that option too.

If you can't remember where things are in Settings, I'm wondering how you would remember the syntax and options of a variety of commands- if such existed.

You can search for settings in Cortana's search field too.

Yes Thanks, I appreciate your help, but my question is different I'm sorry, I do not need to search settings, I'm looking for a way to use "powershell/command line" to set/query windows 10 settings.

The question is open, thanks again.

Then use the registry data and set it in power shell. Example.
automation - How to set automatic time for Quiet hours in Windows 10? - Super User

You will have to research the registry keys for each item you wish to control.

    Good luck!

To search for registry is not feasible, unless if there is a document listing and explaining all windows 10 registry list (?)

    Thanks!

It's up to you as you don't want to use the GUI.

    Search engine...

Unless there is some other way. Personally I'd not conceive of doing that routinely for any normal purposes.

Ok I'll try to explain better what I'm looking for: a more fast and effective way to manage windows 10 settings using a powershell/cmd script, but i do not no if it is possible.
To do that I need of course to verify if it is possible to change win 10 settings using powershel; now is it true that the only way to do that is changing windows 10 registry values? (I don't know); if this is the only way are windows 10 registry documented registry name + change effect? othewise I think it would be quite hard to reverse engineer all win registers by trial and error and would defeat my purpose (I'll became slower not faster).
I know there are many scripts that auto change registry values, how are those values found, serching an trying or are they based on some document?
Are there a list of powershell commands to change windows 10 settings values (I don't know).

I hope it make more sense now.

Unfortunately those settings are hidden all over Microsoft webpages, like Policies and Privacy Related.

I change about 99% settings via registry, you can check my tweaks for reference.

There are also Windows security baselines with some settings, plus changes.
