    100% disk usage windows 10 HP AIO computer, how to resolve


    Hi
    my computer keeps showing 100% disk usage almost all the time, how do I resolve this?
    I have tried many answers provided here and elsewhere. but they all worked for at most 1 or 2 days and then problem comes back again.

    Hello.

    First of all you must find out what is using disk all the time. Next try disabling all background processes you don't need. Try checking/updating drivers too.

    Process explorer (free from MS) can tell you more about System:

    Then try a clean boot and compare usage. If ok you can work back to find what is related to the high usage.

    100% usage corresponding to a rather low transfer rate has been reported a number of times, but not for a while.

    There may be different causes in different cases.

    I had a problem with my laptpop (HP Envy, running Windows 10) becoming very slow due to constant HDD activity, up to 100% if I never opened any app.

    I tried all of the solutions referred to in the tutorials, mostly with no success. I then found the culprit was the APPLE PHOTO service. Just end the process and you should be fine.
