    Taskbar processes

I got a lot of processes running. Could i list some of them here to clarify what they do, and how to get rid of them?

Sure. Since no 2 computers are exactly alike it may take a bit longer for some of the processes to get responses for specific ones. Screen shots would be helpful.

Well, the most annoying one right next is gamebar presence writer. I have disabled game mode in windows, but it still appears in taskmanager.

Disabling is only part, need to use End Task in Task Manager and check the Startup tab and disable if there.

You can remove it, if it bothers you too much. Run CMD as admin and copy/paste:
    Code:
    takeown /f "%WinDir%\System32\GameBarPresenceWriter.exe" /a
    icacls "%WinDir%\System32\GameBarPresenceWriter.exe" /grant:r Administrators:F /c
    taskkill /im GameBarPresenceWriter.exe /f
    del "%WinDir%\System32\GameBarPresenceWriter.exe" /s /f /q

It says error, the process "GameBarPresenceWriter.exe" was not found.

Do i really need windows search indexer to be running all the time?
Windows search doesnt seem to work properly, so whats the point of having it running?

P.S is there a way of managing some of these tasks so they wont start up without my permission?

Not really. Besides, there are way faster alternatives, that work without indexing, like Wizfile or Ultrasearch.

I disabled it. Seems like it didnt serve any purpose besides giving faster search results, but i dont see any difference in the search results after disabling.

    What about searchui.exe?
