    You need to stop Windows update processes, which might keep it open/locked. Like:
    Code:
    taskkill /im TiWorker.exe /f
    taskkill /im trustedinstaller.exe /f
    net stop bits /y
    net stop cryptSvc /y
    net stop msiserver /y
    net stop UsoSvc /y
    net stop wuauserv /y

    I want to know more! I am working on adding a custom location myself, and I can't seem to get my entry to appear in the list. Any information that you can provide on how to get this working would be much appreciated!

    Nevermind, I figured out what issue I was having. Everything is documented thankfully, I just didn't take the time to read about it fully.

    Just in case someone wants it. Add an extra folder to this registry path:

    @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Temporary Files

    "FileList"="*.*" is already there

    and edit the REG_EXPAND_SZ "Folder"

    %TEMP%|%WINDIR%\Temp|%WINDIR%\Logs|%WINDIR%\System32\LogFiles|add_your_own_folder

    If files are locked they will not be deleted as far as I know.

    Cheers
