    SQL is Now Uninstalled.

Ive found the problem I believe ; Services.

    Without Services(Except WIndows ones)
I'm using 2.7 GB. (Including Task Manager Start Up page Enables)
or is 2.7 GB Still too high for a Clean Boot?

Don't see any problem there. You have just over 8 GB available of 16.

Did you get 16 GB of RAM just to look at it, or so it could be used?

Aypifoxs' in-use RAM number is high for what is being used and it raises concerns. Mine sits at 2.4GB on boot and 3.3GB after 8 hours. 7GB in-use (idle/no process) is too high, unless Dell clogged up your system real good. I only do custom builds, to avoid annoyances like that.

Hard to tell how much RAM is installed. Use CPUID CPU-Z to verify RAM and other items. Post the screenshot of the Memory tab. DOWNLOADING CPU-Z_1.87-EN.EXE | CPUID SQLServer will eat up a lot of RAM and/or CPU resources, depending on what is going on.

I could never understand that either. So you're upset that only 8GB of RAM is being wasted and not used? Heck, upgrade to 32GB of RAM so 24GB can be left unused!

Indeed @navy LCDR, as this quick snip from the CPU Gadget attests, that's *exactly* what I've done on my production PC (~8 GB used/24 GB free at the moment).

We all know that the old saying "It's not what you've got, it's how you use it that counts." is completely apt here.

Not Technically speaking, but I would say this is due to the amount of added software you have on your computer. That is, if this is as you say: "always on 50% Memory use".

Have you removed all things not needed from Startups?

My pc, which is very clean because it is a testbed and my Second Desktop, is only using 11-13% at idle, 2GB out of 15.9GB. But again, I would assume it will use more if I had Added Software using it.

The amount of memory that Windows uses depends on many factors and high among them is how much you have. Within reasonable limits the more memory you have, the more it will use. And why not? Better that memory be used for something than not at all, even if the usage is of little benefit.

Windows memory manager always maintains control over memory usage, always with the goal of maximizing overall system performance. Applications that will benefit from more will be given more. The memory manager tries to maintain a reasonable balance between application usage and available memory, most of which will typically be on the standby list. The nature of that balance depends on many factors, including how much memory you have.

With a lot of memory the memory manager doesn't have to work very hard. The best policy is to let application usage grow with few limits. There is plenty for everyone. But with higher workloads or limited RAM things get more complicated. The memory manager must trim back application usage to whatever extent is necessary. You currently have a memory usage of 2.7 GB with 16 GB RAM. But the system would run with the exact same hardware and software with only 2 GB RAM. Usage would of course be severely trimmed back, with the resultant impairment of performance.
