    Fresh Windows 10 is slow

I used the W10 creation tool to reload a fresh installation of Windows 10 home. Everything went well. I did an update and installed Chrome. The computer is running slow, at times typing letters can show a short delay before appearing on screen. I see the spinning blue circle more than I should on fresh windows. This is the second time I reloaded Windows in the past day. It was slow after the first install, so I tried it again. Checkdsk said the drive was good.

Hi, what is your Windows build?
    Windows key + R, winver

Is it different to the one you had preciously installed?

And please complete system specs including disk details (see mine for comparison - My Computer after my post).

There is a good number of threads on the forum about slowness and the analysis thereof which I would encourage you to read.
    A useful tool is the
    Windows Performance Recorder
    (free from MS).
Download and Install Windows Performance Toolkit in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

I assume you have checked RAM use and no excessive use of resources (task manager) and your idle CPU use is at least < 3% e.g.

    Examples:
Slow boot, slow shutdown, and slow program starts. - Windows 10 Forums
Can anyone help with extremely slow load and operation of some progs? - Windows 10 Forums

Also use Gibson's Inspectre tool to check for any adverse effects of patches related to microcode vulnerability
    (search for Inspectre).

Is your BIOS up to date?

If its a Lenovo, it might possibly be a slow hard drive.
