Paintstudio.view.exe Shows in GPU Activity

Hi. For the last few days, I've been noticing on the NVIDIA GPU Activity panel that something is using my GPU even though I'm not playing any game or using a program attributed to it. It says that the culprit is "paintstudio.view.exe". I googled it and it was suggested that I should turn off the permission for Paint 3D to run in the background. I did that, but somehow it keeps happening. If I kill Paint 3D in the task manager it works temporarily but, after a few minutes, it starts running again in the background and using the GPU. Anyone else having this problem? What can I do?

You try to reset the App and see if that fixes it. If not I don't really have another suggestion, because you can't uninstall Paint3D as far as I know.

I actually had just done the reset before reading your message and it worked...but then it came back. I was going to remove it using "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MSPaint | Remove-AppxPackage" as advised at the MS site but it seems that it eventually reinstalls on update. Weird how MS really wants us to have that. Especially since it is easily downloadable from the MS store. Further down on that MS page they talk about altering auto updates but I don't want to get into that. When the Paint3D icon is there if I check GPU activity it is 0% so am just not going to worry about it.
