How large of hard drive you have, My HP is advertised for 500GB HD, Disk shows its 465GB with 423GB of free space.
Running Ccleaner and Both Windows Disk Clean Up, nothing changes. it will still show it has 423GB of free space.

Jaybo, I updated to new version of Ccleaner on Oct 2nd, the day before the V1809 was offered. I rarely used Ccleaner or Disk Clean Up, with 423GB of free space, I load it up with junk.

My HD is one T. I have plenty of free space, but have always been a stickler for cleaning. I must admit I HAVE shot myself in the foot before, so am more careful deleting things these days :). I have even thought of just letting it roll on and see if it takes care of itself...Still la lot to learn at 70yrs ...Thank you for the kind responses...Jim

@cereberus Thanks! for the heads up on Disk Clean. I noticed the new feature to delete everything in "Downloads Folder" yesterday. It will catch many users by surprise. I have to wonder why MS would do that.
Downloads Folder is not the same as c:\users\username\downloads folder just called Downloads. It is the latte thG is the issue.
