Ok that makes sense about the partitions. I couldn't see anything about recovery sequence but it definitely knows to give me the "reset windows" "uninstall updates" " command prompt" options etc.

In that case I will create a recovery USB using the Win10PXE from the software section of this site. I just made the macrium one and I can't seem to do anything on my BL drives , last time I tried those tools I had the ability to unlock them so hopefully that USB will be good to restore a macrium image and also do any other troubleshooting I might need to do.

If you upgrade to windows 10 1809 the partitions may change again as Windows can alter or add a new recovery partition.
Upgrade to Windows 1809 before the modifications of the partitions.

After the Windows 10 upgrade to build 1809, open administrative powershell and copy and paste these commands:
    1) Get-Partition | Format-List > $home\Desktop\partitions.txt
    2) Look on the desktop for the txt file > post into the thread using a share link (one drive, drop box, or google drive)
    3) copy and paste this whole command:

    Code:
    bcdedit /enum
    bcdedit | find "osdevice"
    reagentc /info
    diskpart
    list disk
    list volume
    select disk 0
    list partition
    select partition 1
    detail partition
    select partition 2
    detail partition
    select partition 3
    detail partiton
    select partition 4
    detail partition
    select partition 5
    detail partition
    select partition 6
    detail partition
    select disk 1
    detail disk
    list partition
    exit
When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Hey, sorry for the delay on this one

From reading up on this, those <1GB partitions are created when windows is installed right? And that is what contains the recovery options with the blue background and the options in the boxes?
That in itself won't let me reinstall windows but the reset/refresh option in there will let me do a refresh based on a wim file somewhere?
I can't find anything that shows you how to make one of those manually if you were to delete it. All I can find is tutorials how to create a recovery partition which contains a windows image (which is clearly not what those partitions are) and even then I think they show up in the boot menu (which is also not what those are)

I'm assuming that the partition at the end of C: is the current Windows Recovery Partition as that has been taken out of the free space at the end of C:, and I can safely delete the other one, as well as the larger one at the very end?

You can recreate the recovery partition. At least two ways:
    a. Do an in-place upgrade repair install which keep all programs, data and most settings.
    b. See
How to Restore a Deleted Recovery Partition in Windows 8

Whilst you can use commands and discover which is the active Recovery partition, a rather simple way someone suggested to identify the current recovery partition would be to compare the creation dates:

The active recovery partition is partition 4:

    PartitionNumber : 4
    Size : 861 MB
    Type : Recovery

Partition 6 is also a recovery partition:

    PartitionNumber : 6
    Size : 917 MB
    Type : Recovery

    Windows RE status: Enabled
    Windows RE location: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition4\Recovery\WindowsRE

Yes, I noticed that this time. Not sure what would have kicked it into action.

I've now deleted that partition 6 and the large RECOVERY partition and freed up some GBs. Still boots fine and I can still access the Windows RE. Also did a new macrium image of all of those partitions so I should be good to go.

Cool. Now if you want to get daring you can reclaim the space.
