So I've just installed Macrium and put the recovery boot option on but now I see that every time I start my computer and even at 3 seconds, I don't want to be waiting for it to start because of that menu. Is there a way to turn that menu off, considering I can get to it anyway if I need to using esc during boot ?
You might want to try opening an admin PowerShell or Command Prompt session and typing bcdedit /timeout 0. This will set the display time for the boot menu to zero seconds. Thus, you won't be able to see it. Then, if you need to access that boot menu, you can always use Start --> Settings --> Recovery --> Advanced Startup to access the boot menu options at your disposal. Warning! Don't click Advanced Startup unless you're ready to reboot RIGHT NOW because that's what happens when you click that option.

Shift+Restart is a quicker way to get to the boot menu, just sayin.
the Macrium boot option gives you the choice at boot of going to Windows or booting straight to Macrium to restore an image. But it's not the only way to restore an image. You could make a Macrium boot usb and boot from that. Turning off the boot menu option for Macrium does not remove the boot files. You can turn it back on again at any time should you need it, you won't be asked to download the boot files all over again.
Yes, it removes the Macrium Recovery Option form the Win10 Boot Menu. If you've created the Macrium USB Rescue Media (which you need to do, if you haven't already) then you don't really need the Macrium Recovery Boot Menu Option.Doesn't that mean no macrium recovery option is created? No menu seems not to add anything/remove the existing one
It just adds a Boot Menu Option, that's all.Also what is created when the recovery option is added? I see no extra partitions
No, Macrium deosn't create a new partition. The boot files are placed in a C:\Boot folder and an option added to the boot menu that points to this folder to boot from. Turning off the macrium boot option just removes this boot entry, meaning you will go straight to windows at boot, there will be no menu and no delay while you are offered a choice of boot.
