Hi everyone first post here. On 10Pro should I use Windows PowerShell, WPS x86, WPS ISE or WPSISE x86 to execute SFC.exe? Thanks!

I use Command Prompt, but PowerShell is good too. Remember it has to be an administrator prompt. I'm sure from your time on VistaForums you are familiar with Brink's tutorials...

Thanks for the quick reply. It's been so long since I've had to deal with some of this stuff I couldn't remember which way to go.

Actually it doesn't matter. Sometimes powershell has different syntax but for SFC it doesn't.

If the command works you are ok. I can't think of anything where the same command gives different results - it works or not.
