Please post a screenshot of your task manager, with relevant columns organised high to low.

Also Performance tab, Resource monitor if helpful.

Please also run and post the Gibson Inspectre result and Update History as per my previous. Thanks!

Please use the Insert Image icon above your post to post screenshots.

From the previous Boot trace, I noticed also that Stardock Fences program is causing some delays! It's the program that organizes your desktop shortcuts and icons with Fences. I suggest you disable it and do a test.

There is this program Bootcamp.exe that causes CPU spikes for 30s ! Bootcamp is an Apple software that allows Windows to run on Mac. do you need this program on your Windows machine?

HI, Fence Dock was something I was looking into as I have a lot of images and files that it sorts to Fences. I was going to do some housekeeping to see if this helps. The Bootcamp.exe I have so I can run my Apple Extended keyboard I think that is the only way to do it. It maps the keys correctly i think.

So I have returned to excess activity in idle the bot speed is ok but lots of activity. I run InSpectre no idea what it means

Spectre & Meltdown Vulnerability StatusSystem is Meltdown protected: YESSystem is Spectre protected: YESMicrocode Update Available: YESPerformance: SLOWERCPUID: 206A7

This system's Intel processor does not provide high-performance protection from the Meltdown vulnerability. The use of Meltdown protection on this system will incur some corresponding performance penalty. This system's older Intel processor does not provide high-performance protection from the Meltdown vulnerability. Windows is therefore doing the best job it can to protect the system, though with a possibly significant performance penalty. You may wish to consider disabling this system's Meltdown protection until it is offered at lower system performance cost.
Note the Gibson Inspectre check. E.g. post #56[/QUOTE]

Try disabling that (using the Inspectre tool option) and compare.

    You said:
It shows excessive resource during idle even after loading it seems to be processing for 3 to 10 min with nothing running.
    - If nothing was running, how did you know there was excessive resource use? Could you explain?

    Thanks!

You'd need to check with the Gibson site. Otherwise you could try uninstalling the update in question.

Blue light? Err... what exactly does that indicate?

Please look through the various task manager/resource manager options and post screenshots of any relevant activity.

    Thanks.
