is it possible to power down 2nd hard disk only

I want to "power down" my newly installed INTERNAL "second" sata HDD (used for videos, photos, music) when it is not being used. Is this even possible to "power down" only the 2nd HDD and not the main HDD??Is there 3rd party software that can do this?
I am using windows 10 pro and checked in the advanced power safe section, but can not find to just turn of one hard disk.
    thanks

Haven't checked lately but used to be a device available that fit in the computer like the ODD/Optical Disc Drive with a switch on it that could turn the drive off then pull it out to change, would accomplish the task. Try Computer Accessories Including Cables, Power Cords, and Tools - Cyberguys.com
, think they used to have something in that line. Anything that mentions a docking bay.

I have two removable hard drive racks . They fit in a 5.3 bay in front of your computer. They have on/off switches on them, and I have them setup in the BIOS to hot swap them so that I can turn them off when not using them, and turn them on without having to reboot my computer.
There are many companies that make them, but here's a link to give you some idea of what they look like.

Perxactly. Back when I was using one always had to shut the computer down before changing, Hot Swap wasn't available then. A switch on it could be used to turn it off but after turning it on still had to reboot to get the computer to recognize the drive existed
