Revo is the only thing that makes registry changes on my PC's. I never touch the registry other than creating a reg. backup after every major update.

these reg cleaners are really not necessary (and are overrated)
Win10 runs fine w/out them
I use CCleaner registry cleaner, it's has given me very minor problems in the past but nothing a registry restore or system restore cannot fix until the CCleaner fixes the problem with a new update.
Otherwise it's smooth sailing with CCleaner registry cleaner in which I find is not very aggressive and even safer to use than say Revo Uninstaller at the normal setting for cleaning uninstalled files.
I did notice a very slight increase in performance with registry cleaning but only with my OS installed on a mechanical hard drive, since switching to SSD; registry cleaning does nothing to boost performance on SSD however it's makes you feel the OS is cleaner...
Also registry defragment is highly redundant on SSD, on mechanical drives I used registry defragment too.
Probably like 200 errors the first scan, followed by 50 more...every 3 months it'll find like another 50 or so errors.
Hi folks
These things while not quite in the legion of Snake and Alligator Oil aren't really necessary - just take image backups before installing stuff and you can always restore your system later if the updates / program installs don't work or you just want to get rid of them.
Registry stuff I'd leave strictly alone -- best only for Ms IMO -- 3rd party programs should use other ways of licensing than meddling around in the registry.
