    1) List all of the antivirus software programs in use on the computer (automatic and manual)

    2) Run the BETA log collector and post a zip into this thread:

    (extract > open)

    3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    4) sfc /scannow
    5) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    6) Powercfg -h off
    7) net user test /add
    8) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    9) msconfig (in the pop up system configuration > move the dot from normal startup to selective startup > uncheck load startup items > click service tab > in left lower corner check hide all Microsoft services > in the lower right side click disable all > click apply or ok > do not reboot)

    10) taskmgr (in the pop up task manager > click on the start up tab > click on status so that the column sorts with enable rising to the top > right click on each row with enable and change to disable)

Did some driver (video perhaps) got changed somehow? Check Driver Manager to see if you have the latest drivers from manufacturer (not MS Windows Update).
This caught my attention and always wanting to know more.... Where do you access Driver Manager?

If you mean Device Manager how do you scan quickly for install dates / manufacturer versions?

    - presumably the place to look for driver updates would be near the bottom of the Update History list (under Driver Updates)

Agree and that is where I direct people but if there is a more effective tool I want in.

Check the time, if this happened when you were trying to shut down your PC, or was this something else... then it was driver problem
On Wed 01. 08. 2018 14:19:36 your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: E:\Downloads\080118-10781-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x198560)
    Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF80061286C75, 0xFFFFC28B86288DC0, 0x0)
    Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Can you see the installation date with that? It shows file modified/created dates...

System Information doesn't either, nor does driverquery from a command prompt.
