File operations plagued by delayed response/lag

    Uninstalled Wemod Version Guard and rebooted. Things seem to be going more smoothly now.

    Just want to say I think the debugging in this thread is fantastic. I love the way it proceeded logically from one point to the next, and I learned about getting a trace using Windows Performance recorder which I never heard of before. Now I need to go check that out.

    @Ztruker I agree with you, Windows Performance Toolkit is a great tool that helps to solve tricky performance issues. Initially developed for the Microsoft support team, MS has made a good decision to make it available for the IT community.
