    Superfetch high disk usage everytime starting windows


    Here i provide some screenshots. Superfetch keep growing about 5 minutes and became normal

    Is this normal ? Any change this will damaging my hard drive?

    A shot in the dark: try booting into safe mode and flush the windows\prefetch folder contents. Reboot and retry.

    Recommend you take measures to make the changes readily reversible.

    I suggest you do this at least for a trial period, as it's possible there's more than one problem. Eliminating superfetch should at least allow anything else to become more apparent.
