    Mixed Reality Portal

    Hello,
Please help me to uninstall this useless program. What I did so far after searching for an answer, followed the instructions on this "https://winaero.com/blog/uninstall-mixed-reality-portal-windows-10/" site, made manually the entries in the registry. ( This mixed reality portal was not seen in settings before the registry editing).
Opened the settings, there it was, clicked on it on the "Uninstall" button, what I got is that first I have to disconnect my headset - which I do not have, and close this program - which never opened it. And searched in the "Task Mgr", it is not listed there. According to the explanation on mentioned site, the uninstall button should be a whole button, what I have is 'half' a button. Clicked on the 'half', no results/
Attached a screen shot of that message.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Motim

    Hello Motim,

If you like, you could use the method in the tutorial below to remove the "Mixed reality" page from Settings.

How do you uninstall this thing? I renamed it, but then Windows copied it back.

Just looking though the internet, it looks like it may be part of the OS now; sound like IE all over again.

Does not even show in Settings. I have Classic Shell installed which shows Uninstall and I have clicked it a dozen times and it is still there.

Not even that works, Mixed Reality Portal does not show in CCleaner either. I saw an article a few weeks ago that said that is part of the OS and can't be removed like IE was.

how about a means to remove it from the start menu? So disappointed in microsofts implementation of the start menu and inability to sort/customize it. Even the ability to hide the icon without removing would be acceptable to me but noooooooo...
