Ok tried as admin, and I can see the difference.
Also selected Select Old Drivers, and saw what became checked.

Just so that I do not delete something I should not (I am great at that) I am thinking that because the files are checked as old that the remaining unchecked with the same name only different versions are what my system is actually using at this time ? So the old drivers are expendable.

Cropped just the "N" section as that's the only group that had any old files.

Is this just because when NVIDIA is updating my drivers that it's leaving junk behind ?

    Hey smalltown
DriverStore Explorer won't let you delete any drivers that you system is currently using.

Is this just because when NVIDIA is updating my drivers that it's leaving junk behind ?
    Yes

    Hey smalltown,
Check out DriverStore Explorer (RAPR) - GitHub - lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer: DriverStore Explorer [RAPR]
Wow, Have to tell you thanks for the heads up on this tool, some of the best software I have gotten off of GitHub.
Didn't know I had so many redundant drivers, my system is about 4GB lighter now!

Yes, older video card drivers tend to take a lot of space.

Good for you @Dark Knight! I'm just sorry I didn't mention that you need to run RAPR.exe as administrator from the get-go. It's a great tool that I've been using it from the CodePlex days. And indeed Nvidia drivers are a particularly constant source of upward creep in the size of the DriverStore (ditto for other frequently-updated drivers such as RealTek Audio).
