    the command

    Code:
    ren "%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit\SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp" SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers_bck.wprp

just renames the SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp to SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers_bck.wprp so you don't overwrite it when copying the downloaded form zinou file, provided that your
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit folder contains the file. If for any reason the file is not there, the renaming command fails.

I tried entering the command again. It still says "The system cannot find the file specified."

    Try:

    Code:
    dir "%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit\SampleGeneral*.wprp"
to see if the file exists

The command says the same thing again.

But if I open the Windows Performance Tookit folder, it IS there.

Select the SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp file and press Ctrl+c and then go to your desktop and press Ctrl+v to make a copy of it. Now you have a backup of your originally installed file, on your desktop.

Then copy the file you downloaded from zinou, overwriting the one you have now in the "Windows Performance Toolkit"... and follow zinou's directions

If you open your trace file and get this message, about events lost, then don't bother to upload the file. we can't get the whole picture of what's going on.

    Attachment 192084

I'd suggest you increase the buffers size, in the "SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp" file to 1024.

    Attachment 192085

Or you can download my wprp file and copy it to the WPT path (%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit) https://transfernow.net/1920t0o03j6i

With the buffers size increased, I hope this time we'll get a complete boot trace file, we can analyze and hopefully identify the delay cause.
