Slow boot, slow shutdown, and slow program starts.

I have tried three times to upload the compressed file of the scan done earlier today, but they all failed. The remaining time was given as 2 hours, 3 hours in one case, but neither attempt at uploading as successful.

What best to do next?

I started another attempt at uploading just now. Let's see what happens.

I've not been measuring it, but it's still still slow.

There's another upload taking place right now, it's been uploading for quite a while and for the last 10 minutes it's been saying 15 minutes left, so it doesn't look good.

No luck. The progress window has now closed and the new file hasn´t appeared in Dropbox.

If you open your trace file and get this message, about events lost, then don't bother to upload the file. we can't get the whole picture of what's going on.

I'd suggest you increase the buffers size, in the "SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp" file to 1024.

With the buffers size increased, I hope this time we'll get a complete boot trace file, we can analyze and hopefully identify the delay cause.

Download the SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp file I uploaded, and copy it in "%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit" path. it will replace the existing file.
You can backup the original SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp file before you copy the one I gave you.

Open a command prompt as Administrator and type the following command:

Code:

Ren "%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit\SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp" SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers_bck.wprp

Then copy the SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp you downloaded to the folder %programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit

Can you check if you have the file SampleGeneralProfileForLargeServers.wprp in the %programfiles(x86)%\Windows Kits\10\WindowsPerformance Toolkit folder?
