    [1803] Takes forever to shutdown

I'm always having a problem when shutting down my laptop. IT always took forever to shutdown, sometimes I leave my laptop for already more than 20 mins. and still doesn't shutdown. After searching from the internet, I came to the Event Viewer and I see lots of Warnings and Errors that causes my laptop to shutdown very long.

Here's my logs: TEXT file and EVTX file.

    Thank you in advance!

    Try creating a shortcut on the desktop using C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0

@dmholt57 I tried your suggestion and it didn't work too. It was already 20 mins and my laptop still doesn't shutdown so I hard shutdown it by holding power button. I attached my Event logs above in both TXT and EVTX format. It shows the reasons why my laptop shutdowns so long but I don't know what to do.

Try uninstalling Avast, restart and then retest shutdown.
Do you have Fast Startup on in advanced power?

I turned it off because I want my laptop to have a proper shutdown.

I had a typo in my shutdown command... should have been no slash in front of the 0

Yah I noticed that because it showed shutdown parameters when I heat enter so I've fixed that that time.

I did some workaround for this problem, I tried to change ClearPageFileAtShutdown value in regedit from 1 to 0 and made my laptop shutdown normally. It came back to normal.

But why clearing page file at shutdown takes time? Before I reformatted it last few weeks ago, I am already using ClearPageFileAtShutdown and my laptop shutdowns normally, like what a normal windows should be. Why is it that?
