Memory Integrity in Core Isolation Performance hit and Weirdness
Hi, I enabled this with the April Update on an I7 5820K and Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion motherboard and I'm noticing a substantial performance hit in some applications. Also, some general weirdness like games taking much longer to launch and the SFC tool getting stuck at 4% if this is enabled. I was just wondering whether anyone else had noticed this.
My 3DMark Firestrike Physics score went from 16100 to 15100 and the CPU never reached max turbo.
Game load times were all increased by around 20%.
I then had to disable it using the regedit due to the administrator bug. This worked fine, however Windows Security Centre reports that Virtualisation-based Security is running even though memory integrity is disabled. The problem is that this is contradicted by System Information which states that it is not enabled. System information only shows it as enabled if memory integrity is enabled. So is core isolation and Virtualisation-based security separate from memory integrity or not? Microsoft is very unclear on the issue.
