What is Safe to Delete with new File Deletion Options?

This how to geek article discusses what may be safe to delete after running the new tool to free space included with the Creator's Spring Update. I am really not sure after reading what we should or should not delete. CAn anyone enlighten me? Thanks.

I like to caution folks such as my clients to not simply Delete most things but to use the Uninstall feature of programs or the Settings, Apps to do it. Deleting can cause problems such as leaving behind support files that may be in other sections of Windows or causing Windows not to properly start up. I know it seems like one is the same as the other but anything that can prevent use of the computer is to be avoided as much as possible.

Emptying the Recycle Bin and the Temp Folder can be good but the Temp Folder can't be completely emptied, always a few files that Windows keeps in use but usually not large.

Storage Sense does just about same things as Disk Cleanup so it's perfectly safe. I tried it first time when updated to this Skippy build and than went to Disk cleanup and all was cleaned up in same way.

There is also disk cleaner which can be used to clean up system files.

There are many 3rd party programs but "Disk Cleanup" is built in and probably safest.

This is why I suggested it as some people/organisations prefer not to use 3rd party.

I do too, windows have that very long time, no need for 3rd party programs. I just like to uninstall programs properly with Revo uninstaller and that keeps disks and system cleaner.
